    R. Nash – races to a puck in the neutral zone that bounced past Letang, enters the left side of the Penguins zone on a 2-on-1 with Zuccarello, carries the puck just inside the left faceoff circle, and fires a wrist shot past Fleury’s blocker
    M. Zuccarello – skates down the right side into the Penguins zone with Nash on a 2-on-1, forcing Martin to watch the passing option instead of just going straight to Nash
  • Pittsburgh Faults

    K. Klein – takes a slapshot that goes over the net, bounces off of the glass, and floats back over the net into the slot area
    D. Brassard – is the first person to find the puck bouncing back into the slot, corrals it, and fires it past Fleury’s left pad before most players have figured out what happened
  • Pittsburgh Faults
    D. Perron – swats at the puck when Nash plays it to the top of the left faceoff circle in the Penguins zone, but ends up over-skating it as he pushes it to Zuccarello

    C. Kreider – retrieves a loose puck behind the Penguins net and moves it along the boards to St. Louis next to the right faceoff circle along the right-side boards (cont.), stands in front of Fleury so that he can’t track the pass across the slot and then can’t pick up Stepan’s shot until it’s too late
    M. St. Louis – holds the puck for a couple of seconds, skates towards the right faceoff dot as if he’s going to shoot, then makes a pass across the slot to Stepan above the left faceoff circle
